The cottage that originally served as a fisherman's cottage for Lahtela farm hosts has enchanted enthusiasts of more authentic cottage life for several decades. At this cottage located on its own island in Mäntyharju, both vacationers and their four-legged family members enjoy freedom and privacy. The island cottage is particularly well-suited for water sports, boating, and fishing enthusiasts, as the crystal-clear Lake Enonvesi surrounding the island offers magnificent settings for various self-guided activities.

The main building's living room has sleeping accommodations for three people and a small kitchen corner equipped with a gas cooktop. The separate sleeping cabin offers an additional three beds for the needs of a larger group. Thanks to the outdoor gas refrigerators, holiday foods stay cool, and in the grill shelter, you can prepare meals for the entire group using the gas grill. In the yard, there is also a wood grill where fish caught from the lake or sausages bought from the store cook perfectly. In the relaxing steam of the wood-heated sauna, worries are forgotten and breathing calms down. From the sauna, it's good to dash occasionally to cool off via the long and stable pier into the pure waves of Lake Enonvesi. The island is free from electricity and running water, so drinking water is carried in canisters from the mainland. Additionally, a solar panel makes phone charging possible, and a water pump frees vacationers from carrying utility water.

Please Note

You may bring a maximum of two (2) dogs to the island.
In calm weather, the distance from the mainland is about 150 rowing strokes, and there is a designated parking spot for your car on the mainland at a nearby cape.
Final cleaning service is not available for this cottage, so guests must take care of cleaning themselves. Garbage should be taken to the collection point at Lahtela Farm.
Guests must bring their own linens and towels.
Drinking water is obtained from Lahtela Farm using water containers.
