Summer cottage Aurinkokumpu

Welcome to enjoy the atmosphere of a farm hand's cottage in the middle of an idyllic rural landscape!

This former farm hand's cottage known as Aurinkokumpu is located near the shore of crystal-clear Lake Enonvesi in Mäntyharju, surrounded by the fields of Lahtela Farm. On the lower floor of the two-story cottage, you'll find a cozy kitchen, a living room, and a bathroom equipped with an electric sauna. At the top of the stairs, there is a sleeping loft with three beds and a separate bedroom with a double bed and a junior bed. Despite the building's long and respectable age, you won't have to shiver in winter or sweat in summer, as the cottage is equipped with electric radiator heating, an authentic wood stove, and an air conditioning unit.

Outside, there is a wood grill and a gas grill in the grill shelter. A boat and life jackets are available for use. From the cottage, you can go outdoors in the diverse forested terrain with pleasant forest road routes. The terrain is also excellent for berry and mushroom picking. In the yard, there is a woodshed with an electric plug connection.

In summer, guests have access to a wood-heated shoreline sauna by the nearby lake daily from 3-7 PM or by arrangement. The beach is about a 180-meter walk away and can also be reached by car. The beach is child-friendly, sandy, and gently sloping. For bigger swimmers, a sturdy pier offers the opportunity to plunge directly into the clear Lake Enonvesi.
